What kind of services does gogaydvd.com provide?

Gogaydvd.com at this time provides two services. An online DVD rental service for the LGBT community that directly supports our GLBT filmmakers. Communal support for our GLBT filmmakers through the IGVFC Consortium Network and Producers Collaboration.

What is the IGVFC Network and Producers Collaborative?

The Independent Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Video Filmmakers Consortium (IGVFC) Network and Producers Collaborative is a network of filmmakers. Which an important portion of your membership fee will be going to the IGVFC Network and Producers Collaborative to create original programs starting with compilations of new documentary short films in 2007. As our membership grows we'll present original full-length documentaries and compilations of short narrative films. Your membership directly helps them to produce more films for the LGBT community. Communal support which the other online DVD rental companies do not do.

Is my credit card information safe and protected?

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 3.0) software, which encrypts information you input. Once your credit card information has been approved, we do not store your credit card information on our server.

How does online DVD renting work?

Renting DVDs online is easy!!! Just add any DVD title from our inventory to your wish list. We will send you your top available DVD(s) selection, depending upon your rental plan. After you finish viewing you DVD, simply put it back into it's sleeve, place it into the pre-paid, pre-addressed return envelope and drop it in any US mailbox for return.

How come I can't find the title I want in your inventory, and how do I get it added?

Gogaydvd.com is always searching for additions to our DVD collection, updating our inventory frequently. If there is a film title you'd like to see in our collection tell us about it! We encourage customer input in our film selection process, so that we can create the best LGBT DVD library for our customers.

What's the maximum amount of DVD's I can rent out at a time?

Gogaydvd.com at the moment offers three rental plans:

 

2 DVD titles per month

$4.99 / limited 2 rentals per month plan

1 DVD title at a time

$10.99 per month / unlimited plan

2 DVD titles at a time

$15.99 per month / unlimited plan

 

Vermont residents will be charged 6% state tax.

I finished watching my DVD(s), how do I return them?

Once you finish watching your DVD just slip it back into its protective sleeve, place the sleeve in the pre-address stamped envelope and drop it into any US mailbox for return. Once we receive your returned DVD we will immediately process and send your next available selection from your wishlist.

The DVD I rented was broken or damaged when I received it, what do I do?

If you have received a DVD title that is unplayable, please contact us at:support@gogaydvd.com. Please return the DVD immediately, and we will ship the next available DVD on your wishlist.

I've sent the DVD(s) back, but my account says you didn't receive it?

We use the U.S. Postal Service to ship your DVDs. We find this method of delivery is reliable and fast. However, occasionally a DVD may be lost or broken during shipping through no fault of your own. Therefore, it is our policy to accommodate for the occasional lost or broken DVD. Please keep in mind DVDs cannot be removed from the "lost" status until they are returned. If you find or receive a DVD you previously reported lost, please send the DVD back to us immediately so we can credit your account. The title will be removed from the DVDs Lost section. Please give at least 6 days before worrying. After the 6 days please contact us with your situation at:support@gogaydvd.com. It is our policy to replace lost movies at no charge. If an excessive amount of lost DVD reports are filed on an account, we will place the account under review and notify the customer via email.

I accidentally broke the DVD, what do I do?

Please contact us at: support@gogaydvd.com. and tell us about your situation, that the movie was damaged while in your possession and that you would like to pay for it.

What payment methods do you accept?

At this time we only accepts MasterCard and Visa credit cards. After your initial membership setup, your credit card will be billed on a monthly basis automatically so you do not have to register each month.

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel at anytime. There are no cancellation fees or penalties, just e-mail us at: cancel@gogaydvd.com Before we can process your cancellation request you must first return all of gogaydvd.com DVD rentals in your possession. Your cancellation request will appear on your next credit card statement.
